Outfit: Printed.

I am a sucker for good, structured fits. And pants rule a major part of my life and closet. I was that 'eccentric dresser' back in college looking all corporate like on the bottom and lounge wear on the top. That style defines me. I mean don't get me wrong, I do fancy my dresses and skirts every once in a while but just to break the monotony of life. Nothing more, nothing less. Anyway, these pants are definitely a corporate affair gone bad so you might want to only take the plunge if you're required to dress semi casual professionally or best left for going out days. I would admit though, I did play safe while wearing this out for an evening of family meetups. But, I'm sure these will feature in another blog post sometime only cuz I love them so much.

Must Have: Printed Trousers.

A must have summer staple every wardrobe craves is a pair of crisp printed trousers. Stores are bustling with crazy summer prints and the likes of floral, chevron, animal, paisley, stripes are as much on the runways as your go-to high street names. What's more? You can experiment with an array of fits.
I was blown away by all the options I had on a recent visit to my go-to store. And thanks to my faithful shopping companion for pointing this particular pair out, cuz as soon as I saw it I knew it would be an investment I wouldn't regret.

*OOTD post coming up next.

New In: Clothing.

Soo, a couple weeks back I went to the mall hoping to just look around at all the new stuff and get something good to eat. But I had been looking for a good pair of white skinny jeans for the longest time and just as I saw these at Zara I hoped to not attach alot of excitement to them (owing to numerous disappointments in the past), even though they did seem my perfect kinda fit and style. I went to try them on and Hallelujah, cuz this was it. We had planned a weeks getaway to Varanasi in a few days, so I thought a loose fitting white tee couldn't really do any harm. And harm it didn't, in fact, it did fetch me a compliment or two from two random Japanese guys! I know. A shirt could do that? Well, it did in my case. And these shoes well, they're open toed, nude and on trend, everything a summer shoe needs to be.

Spring Colours.

So spring has come and gone. Or has it? If you're holding a hot cup somewhere and crying your heart out reading this, well, hang in there cuz better days are yet to come your way. I am just in a tropical country and we either have scorching heat wave blinding us or harsh cold winds slapping our faces.
Anywayyy this outfit is basically just all colour and comfort. We are still trying to figure out our camera's idiosyncrasies (yes, mine has a life) and stuff should just get better as we progress.
I bought these shorts last summer from Forever 21 and never got around to wearing them up until 'spring' was right around the block. Congratulations to my cousin, who's baby boy's birth day (literally) was the same day as the inauguration of this chevron printed goodness. All I did was loose the cardigan and scarf and recreate this for an OOTD.

New in : February.

This was the result of one of the many sprints I have been doing to the mall. Well, not really. I am not that close by to the malls of my liking. Sigh! And if I do end up sprinting all the way from home, I'd be even lesser than skin and bone. -_-
So, resorting to the same old drive like your favourite store's on fire routine for now.

This one in particular happened by chance though. I was supposed to be chauffeuring my uncle to one of his uber intellectual meetings and all I was looking forward to was lunch later. Prepared to wander away time at the Airport coffee place, I even had my nerdy glasses on to look like all that fancy talk don't phase me. But well as luck would have it, things got rescheduled and we decided to head home instead. My home. The mall, that is.
And even though I just had a big one pasted on my face, my heart was somersaulting like a sugar fed kid in Disneyland.

*Everything bought with my own money.
Geez, just kidding dad!
-_-

So, I went to three places and the items mentioned are in the in the order of naming, that is, Forever 21, Zara and Fab India.

Fab India | Aloe Vera soothing gel, Vitamin E night cream, Rose Geranium face and body gel scrub, Vitamin E de-pigmentation cream, Aloe Vera under eye gel.

Lastly, these were some bits and bobs from all the places combined that don't really make the cut owing to the weather right now or their non fashion/beauty related nature.

Sheer & Print.

Finally, posting up pictures of the outfit and officially kick-starting the blog.
I am mostly wearing everything from my go-to store. Surprise!
This is one of the easiest outfits to put together as well as run around in. Everything about it is just sheer comfort. Just put my hair in a bun and I was out the door in no time. The skull-y neck thing is a fairly recent purchase right after my trip to Varanasi. I squealed a little when I saw the only piece left and was having second thoughts right when I reached home. Not saying the tantriks on the ghats were on play subconsciously even when I was back. Well, maybe a little. Because as soon as I got home and tried it on, I was like oh no, I'm an effin' tantrik now.
BUT, I'm determined, so this better work.
