Must Have: Printed Trousers.

A must have summer staple every wardrobe craves is a pair of crisp printed trousers. Stores are bustling with crazy summer prints and the likes of floral, chevron, animal, paisley, stripes are as much on the runways as your go-to high street names. What's more? You can experiment with an array of fits.
I was blown away by all the options I had on a recent visit to my go-to store. And thanks to my faithful shopping companion for pointing this particular pair out, cuz as soon as I saw it I knew it would be an investment I wouldn't regret.

New In: Clothing.

Soo, a couple weeks back I went to the mall hoping to just look around at all the new stuff and get something good to eat. But I had been looking for a good pair of white skinny jeans for the longest time and just as I saw these at Zara I hoped to not attach alot of excitement to them (owing to numerous disappointments in the past), even though they did seem my perfect kinda fit and style. I went to try them on and Hallelujah, cuz this was it. We had planned a weeks getaway to Varanasi in a few days, so I thought a loose fitting white tee couldn't really do any harm. And harm it didn't, in fact, it did fetch me a compliment or two from two random Japanese guys! I know. A shirt could do that? Well, it did in my case. And these shoes well, they're open toed, nude and on trend, everything a summer shoe needs to be.

Sheer & Print.

Finally, posting up pictures of the outfit and officially kick-starting the blog.
I am mostly wearing everything from my go-to store. Surprise!
This is one of the easiest outfits to put together as well as run around in. Everything about it is just sheer comfort. Just put my hair in a bun and I was out the door in no time. The skull-y neck thing is a fairly recent purchase right after my trip to Varanasi. I squealed a little when I saw the only piece left and was having second thoughts right when I reached home. Not saying the tantriks on the ghats were on play subconsciously even when I was back. Well, maybe a little. Because as soon as I got home and tried it on, I was like oh no, I'm an effin' tantrik now.
BUT, I'm determined, so this better work.

Back for good.

Hi,

Welcome to my blog. Reinvented, kinda. With situations akin to the camera one handled, it was only fitting I jump right back in. So, since this took long enough, I am straddled and sacked better than before.
For outfit details of this picture and other fun stuff, be sure to check all the upcoming posts.

The ZARA way.

Since this is no talk-of-the-town blog (as yet), I just want to give a big shoutout to all the smartasses  kind enough to read this. I'm not a 'lady' per se, but we all try right. And, especially, since this is my first, I shall be excused.
Also, I used to think mentioning the prices of the stuff you're showing off via your blog is totally underrated and should be be done away with like asap, but I realise now, that some people are genuinely interested in buying similar stuff and this may just help them, after all we're only like-minded people sharing some thought space together. Also, that this whole fashion blogging is not just a show off playground it may have seemed through a distance.
So, I'd let the meaning remain as candid and simple as it is, I'm here to be inspired and of what I can, to inspire people to just remember that there's a reason why the first rain is so special and the sun so subliminal at dawn, both in their most unadulterated forms. And, that blindsiding yourself into following the mainstream is not cool 'cuz Fashion & Style can never be fed into someone, they come from within, so listen close and follow, You!

And, yes this is unnecessary absolute, total waste of space (read the bajillion photos), but ah well who's counting.

:)

The camera sucks, I know, charity anyone?

I see youu

Era-hopping.

I live in an era of the 'not-so-fun', ofcourse only vicariously. Yet, how I wish the 1800's were revived. The particular time and age not only illustrated and put into perspective, what we stereotype as 'Fashion' today, the art then dripped out of every little turn around a block. It cried off of little wretched souls and the holy facades of all things natural.
Often synonymously known to be the Neo-Classicism/Romanticism/Impressionism Era, it feels like losing your soul to the surrealism that apparently breathed its first few only in the 1920's. Nonetheless, the power with which the 19th Century casts its spell on some, is one that will only either overplay or undermine its significance, so it's left for each to experience and instill as its own.

Today, I can only wish, 'cuz tomorrow what will be is still only a mystery..

"Some things are hard to write about. After something happens to you, you go to write it down, and either you over dramatize it, or underplay it, exaggerate the wrong parts or ignore the important ones. At any rate, you never write it quite the way you want to."
— Sylvia Plath

PS. With my very first post here, let my employ the 'herd' to give up, giving in! Follow you! Cuz' I swear to God, if I see one more cheap-run-of-the-mill-imitation of my aboriginal-anything-&-everything, somebody's gonna get hurt.(And NOT Russell Peters style, not this time! ;[ )

PPS. Keep posted to time-travel, only 'cuz there's a little story perpetuating in all of us.

Until then, hog on these and dreaaam.
Sigh!

Love.
